LIKE many Primary 7 pupils at this time of the year St. Brigid’s PS, Ballymena pupil Sinead Devine is facing her last few months of primary school.

As well as the usual delights of this time such as appearing in the school show and learning what school she will transfer to Sinead has an extra special reason to smile.

She has recently been chosen by the South West Antrim section of Allianz Antrim Cumann Na mBunscol to represent her school in the All Ireland Hurling series this Summer.

Sinead will join with girls from across Ireland to play in a half-time demonstration match during one of the All Ireland Hurling series games in Croke Park.

She will wear the colours of one of the teams participating, meet the GAA president and play in front of a capacity crowd, a great achievement for the All Saints GAC camog.
