Darts Shield competition
It will be played over 4 boards and the draw took place on Monday night. The captains of each team have been requested to put in the names for tomorrow evening’s competition and they are also responsible for making sure there players respect the start time of 9pm.
While the first monthly darts meeting is on Monday, in the Longfield Inn, at 9pm sharp. There will be matters up for discussion and all initial fees are due at this meeting such as team registration, bar affiliation and player registration.

Hide AdAll league teams must have at least one representative at each meeting or there will be an automatic fine for first non attendance of meetings as agreed at Annual General Meeting.
Last Thursday night saw an impressive six 180 maximums and the players who hit the 180s were Keith Darby (Macons), Conrad Watson (Rising Sun A), Steven Doherty (Rising Sun A), Gerard Curley (The Depot), John Moore (The Depot) and Brian Watson (The Vale).
There were three players with over 100 checkouts, with the highest checkout of the week going to Nigel Moore (Rising Sun B) with a solid 120 finish. Other good checkouts came from Dermott McGuinness (Donaghys A) 118, Steven Doherty (Rising Sun A) 104,
The least darts of the week was from Dermott McGuinness (Donaghys A) with a strong 15 dart leg. This was closely folled by other good legs which came from Joe O’ Hara (Eglinton Cricket Club A) 16 darts, John McKinney (Rising Sun B) 17 darts;
