Start your Christmas shopping at Portstewart Presbyterian festive fair!
This long-established Fair is one of the most popular and varied in the district and runs from 10-30 a.m. to 1-30 p.m. when the friends and supporters of the
congregation can view and purchase from the local exhibitors, the ladies’ cake stall, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a tray bake and scone, meet Santa, or have their child’s face painted.

Hide AdAdmission, which includes the refreshments, is £3-00 per person with accompanied children free.
The stalls include Lamont’s Garden Services with an extensive range of plants and floral wreaths, alongside Alastair McCook whose specialist collectors’ items and unique photographs will appeal to many.
The Art Class from our own painting group is showing their talent in various mediums, and original works and prints could make a very personal and unique gift.
Scented candles and soaps are catered for by Alternative Angles and Royal Elite Candles will display their comprehensive collection for perusal and purchase.

Hide AdMiribilia hand-crafted jewellery make a welcome return and the array of designs always receives a wide audience. For those with a sweet tooth, fudge will be available with Mark Kane selling his many flavours, while we’ll be brought VP Designs and Patisserie Paradise by cousins working together!
Hilda’s Hobbies, a popular local exhibitor of decorated wooden shapes will have an impact on young and old alike. Nan Nelson will attend displaying an array of knitted goods and wreaths, all of which should be well received.
The titles of some stalls conjure up delightful images of what will be revealed including “Grandma’s Spoons”, Jewellery from Cutlery; “Knits” by Lily Crawford; Cards, by Linda Moore, always popular at this seasonal event; Button Craft by Myrtle Millar and Handmade Soap and Skincare. Hide AdThe Woman Next Door, in the news at the moment, is exhibiting her range of jams and chutneys with us for the first time. The R.N.L.I. proves a tremendous attraction each year, and quickly runs low on stocks of their delightful gifts. Children’s face painting will entertain the young people and add to the festive atmosphere, while there’ll also be fun and games courtesy of our Youth Group.
Taylor’s Potatoes, always faithful at the Fair, will feature as will the donated seasonal berried holly and garden plants being sold by members of our
congregation. Firewood Supplies to see you through the Christmas weather will be based in the car park at the entrance to facilitate collection.

Hide Adpuddings will be available alongside shortbread, sponges and tray bakes, while those attending are invited to participate in enjoying an array of buttered scones and pastries accompanied by a cuppa of tea or coffee, all included in the admission price of £3.00. Add to all this the pleasure of meeting old friends and making new ones and an enjoyable and rewarding Saturday morning is assured.
