There was also good news for drivers frustrated at the state of the town’s Flush Place, which is to be resurfaced.
DUP MLA Carla Lockhart has welcomed the move and said, “Millennium Way has been a long awaited road network promised to the people of Lurgan for over 20 years.

Carla added said, “This is a major win for Lurgan. Over many years this stretch of road has been promised to the people of Lurgan and I am delighted that investment is eventually being afforded to this long awaited project.
“It will see over £7million investment in our roads network and I am delighted that Road Service have committed to resurface Flush Place as part of the overall scheme.
“Traffic congestion in Lurgan has and continues to be a problem whilst this is not a silver bullet I believe it will assist and will open up further development land on the periphery of the town.
