Hide AdLast week’s story carried comments from club vice-chairman Alan Harrison stating that it could cost £200 to repair the damaged clock.
And it seems someone took note of Mr Harrison’s comments, as local police have since confirmed that the missing letters were handed in to a local church along with £200 to fix the damage.
A post on the PSNI Craigavon Facebook page said: “A very expensive lesson to learn, but learnt nonetheless!
“The club consider the matter now resolved, so we’re delighted to be able to get them an outcome they’re happy with.”
