Charged with supplying drugs

A 34-year-old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court accused of possessing and supplying drugs.

Timothy David Deardon, Flush Place, Lurgan, appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.

He is accused of possession of a class A drug, Methylenedioxymethylamphetamine, and a class B drug, Amphetamine, on December 15 last year with intent to supply them.

Deardon is also charged with unlawful possession of the two drugs and unlawful possession of a class C drug, Diazepam.

He was remanded in custody to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on November 15.
