Bradley welcomes traffic assessment at Coleraine development
MLA Bradley contacted Transport NI after residents raised concerns about safety, exiting the development onto the Ring Road.
In a letter to MLA Bradley this week, Transport NI’s Divisional Manager, Deirdre Mackle, confirmed that an assessment will be carried out on the junction which will include a turning count survey along with a queue length and delay survey.
“This is welcome news,” said the DUP MLA.

“The problem is worse for motorists who are wishing to turn right towards the Ballycastle Road roundabout, as they are having to cross two very busy lanes of traffic.
“I have been told that there have already been a number of accidents at the junction, and I would urge motorists to exercise caution in this area.
“Transport NI will come back to me when the assessment is complete with their findings.”
