£7m airport plan briefing for DUP delegation at Eglinton
A DUP delegation has been briefed on future plans for City of Derry Airport following a recent Executive investment announcement.
East Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell and MLAs George Robinson, Adrian McQuillan and Gary Middleton visited the Eglinton site on Friday morning.
Mr Robinson said: “The purpose of today’s visit was to learn about the current situation with the airport and to establish what help they needed to ensure the £7 million from the Executive will be maximised for the benefit of the North West.

Hide Ad“The airport management gave us a comprehensive briefing and tour of the facilities at Eglinton. I have no doubt that the airport can play an integral role in developing the North-West economy, so we must ensure best usage of the airport for passengers and possibly freight where possible.”
