Age on Stage to combine dancing with knitting
September sees Age on Stage enter its sixth year and this project will allow the Group to broaden their dancing skills, strengthen their performance abilities and awareness of choreographic techniques. The piece entitled ’Knit One, Twirl One’ will be performed at the Island Studio Theatre on Friday December 7 at a special matinee community event.
Age on Stage Chairman, Jean Hunter said: “We are looking forward to working with Ms Gomme on this new project and developing the palette of choreography which we will explore with her while she is here with us in Lisburn. We are very grateful for the support from the Arts Council Northern Ireland for the support for this innovative project.”
